Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks an AVS Senior Strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead strategic planning, execution, and optimization of Amazon's supply chain. You will drive high-impact projects, partner with Retail, Supply Chain, and Vendors, and influence cost and waste reductions while maintaining a customer-centric focus.

You will analyze operational metrics, manage multiple complex programs, and travel quarterly to vendor sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques.
• 6+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in supply chain management, engineering, business management or other relevant field.
• Experience managing multiple projects in parallel through prioritization, planning, and task delegation.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with business partners.
• 6+ years of proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex supply chain projects, preferably in a large-scale retail or e-commerce environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable supply chain strategies. Microsoft Excel and SQL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and deliver improvement opportunities around demand and production planning.
• Monitor and own Vendor KPIs such as Out of Stock rate, Total Inbound lead time, confirmation rates; present insights to Senior Leadership.
• Analyze production and delivery lead-times; optimize inputs like EDI adoption, PO confirmations, receive processes, inventory placement.
• Lead initiatives to enhance cost structure and profitability with partner teams.
• Travel quarterly to vendor sites to support ongoing partnership.
