Job summary

Houston Methodist seeks a Supply Chain Performance Analyst to maintain complex data analyses of the supply chain and report findings to management. The role collaborates with Information Technology Business Intelligence, ERP and other stakeholders to advance best practices and present insights on inventory, spend and savings trends.

You will develop dashboards, support annual operating budgets, and help highlight performance issues with actionable recommendations to drive efficiency and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, business administration or related field.
• Three years of supply chain, operational or financial analysis experience.
• Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to develop and advance best practices and tools for business analysis.

Responsibilities

• Extracts data from appropriate sources to generate reports and reconcile findings.
• Maintains monthly dashboards of key indicators and external benchmarks.
• Supports supply chain financial performance analysis and contract modeling.
• Collaborates with IT BI/ERP teams and stakeholders.
• Identifies performance abnormalities and recommends improvements.
