Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Supply Chain Management Demand Planner in Houston, TX to lead inbound demand planning for the system's clinical and ancillary end users. You will forecast demand, develop projection models, analyze inventory levels, and support vendor discussions to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective supplies.

In this role you will manage risk assessments, aid in supply interruption mitigation through sourcing substitutes, lead expediting, oversee the recall and alert

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or relevant field
• Three years’ experience in a supply chain or business analytics role

Responsibilities

• Forecast future demand and develop projection models for decision making and vendor discussions
• Analyze inventory levels and supplier fill rates
• Support risk assessments and mitigation for supply disruptions
• Lead expediting activities and manage third-party logistics program
• Maintain recall and alert processing system and reports
• Contribute to disaster preparedness and responsiveness
