Job summary

Neapco in Farmington Hills, MI, is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to optimize transportation and logistics. You will partner with finance, 3PLs, and suppliers to manage freight spend and drive cost-efficient, compliant operations.

The role emphasizes analytical problem solving, ERP experience (SAP and Plex), and cross-functional collaboration across the supply chain to support strategic sourcing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2-4 Years experience in transportation contracts, or MP&L.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP & Plex preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage transportation spend to ensure cost efficiency and budget alignment.
• Support cost studies and guide strategic sourcing and operational decisions.
• Coordinate among suppliers and plants to address supply chain disruptions such as supplier shortages, shipping delays or acts of god by securing alternate sourcing, expedite shipments and manage capacity issues
• Inform cross functional teams and provide recommendations regarding supplier relief request
• Manage large-value and international freight claims, coordinating with providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
• Oversee cargo insurance processes and ensure shipments are properly protected based on value and risk exposure.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers and third-party logistics provider (3PL) to ensure service performance and issue resolution.
• Escalate operational or 3PL Provider service issues and work collaboratively to implement corrective actions.
