Job summary

First Quality in McElhattan, PA is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Account Specialist to ensure customers’ demands are met and product is delivered on time. You will collaborate across sales, planning, distribution, and IT to resolve issues and optimize order flow.

The role emphasizes strong communication, data analysis, and proactive problem solving to support launches, promotions, and inventory management for assigned customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in order fulfillment (preferred).
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Basic understanding of data analytics.
• Basic thinking and problem solving skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills—especially Excel.
• Exposure to SAP.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with customers to meet their supply requirements for First Quality Consumer Products.
• Collaborate with sales, supply planning, demand planning, distribution, transportation, product marketing, financial teams, PLM, and IT support to resolve product flow issues.
• Coordinate and participate in meetings with customers to prevent or resolve problems.
• Work with customers to determine appropriate product/service solutions.
• Meet with customers to discuss requirements and concerns, following through with actions.
• Monitor open orders and inventory reports to track progress through shipment and receipt.
• Use VMI tools to maintain inventory at target levels and lead periodic review meetings.
• Process customer samples, returns, and claims for miss-shipments or damaged goods.
