Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a Vendor Relations Lead for Sourcing Operations in Nashville, TN. This role drives supplier lifecycle processes, onboarding milestones, and contract interpretation with key providers across North America.

Strong cross-functional leadership and data-driven decision making are essential. You will partner with Sourcing, Legal, and regional teams to optimize supplier performance and deliver measurable cost savings for the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or significant relevant experience.
• 7 years project management in a highly cross-functional environment.
• 7 years progressive experience in supplier performance and contract management.
• 3-5 years financial analysis, modeling, and business planning.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Document and lead the development of complex supplier lifecycle processes such as qualifications, contracting and onboarding.
• Lead the review, qualification, contracting, and onboarding milestones for complex, key supplier requests received from regional partners.
• Support interpretation of complex contractual expectations and service descriptions between Starbucks and key service providers.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships at every level of the organization with partners/stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements & delivery of business unit priorities.
• Consult with Sourcing and Legal for additional support as needed.
• Lead the development and implementation of programs that identify specific enhancements to the key supplier portfolio, resulting in measurable performance improvements.
