Job summary

HL Mando Corporation in Opelika, AL is seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to lead supplier issue resolution and containment to ensure production quality across suspect parts.

You will review supplier corrective actions, support PPAP/ISIR processes, and collaborate with quality, production, and other departments to stabilize supplier quality on the line. Fluent Korean and English are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of production processes and quality requirements for manufacturing.
• Ability to understand supplier parts inventory flow and claim processes.
• Reading comprehension and math / analytical skills are a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and follow up supplier quality issues to containment and production flow.
• Review 8D reports and implement effective corrective actions.
• Audit PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plan with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier performance data and conduct periodic supplier process audits.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production and other departments to meet plant requirements.
• Monitor non-conforming parts and match with GMES/ERP records.
• Prepare and review supplier PPAP/ISIR and 4M change documentation.
• Support inspections data usage for process improvement.
• Ensure quality documentation for customer/internal audits.
• Lead IATF 16949 audit preparation related to supplier quality.
