Job summary

Qcells Georgia, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Staff Engineer I to lead supplier selection, PPAP, ISIR, and continuous improvement across US, Korea, and Malaysia. You will help implement unified SQM systems and ensure external partners meet quality standards to support a robust supply chain.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, strong GD&T and data analysis skills, plus experience auditing suppliers, performing IQC oversight, and driving corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings (GD&T) and material test reports.
• Proactive mindset for identifying supply chain risks and driving improvements at source.
• Excellent communication and negotiation with global suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier selection and evaluation to meet quality targets.
• Manage PPAP and ISIR processes for new parts/materials.
• Conduct supplier audits and drive corrective actions using 8D methodology.
• Monitor IQC standards and disposition of non-conforming materials.
• Track supplier quality KPIs and lead supplier development initiatives.
