Job summary

FORVIA seeks a Senior Supplier Quality and Development Engineer to drive supplier development and quality improvements across multiple markets. You will lead APQP activities, manage escalation with the SQA team, and mentor engineers in group methodologies.

Ideal candidate has 7+ years in automotive, strong English, and proven ability to operate in an international environment. This role emphasizes quality systems and process excellence within FORVIA’s global mobility agenda.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of automotive industry experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience as Supplier Quality Engineer.
• Experience in an international environment.
• VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949 Auditor Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier selection and evaluation processes.
• Manage supplier quality issues and escalation with SQA.
• Deploy continuous improvement plans with key suppliers.
• Support APQP for new/modified parts and tooling transfers.
• Ensure supplier compliance with IATF 16949 and 8D methodology.
