Job summary

FORVIA is seeking a Supplier Quality and Development Engineer (SQ&D) to ensure supplier quality and development for new and existing suppliers. You will support APQP, lead improvement plans, and mentor SQA teams while coordinating with global supplier networks and adhering to IATF 16949 and other standard procedures.

The role requires an engineering degree, 7+ years in automotive, and 3+ years in supplier quality, with advanced English and international experience.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive industry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Supplier Quality Engineer.
• Experience in an international environment.
• VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949 Auditor Certification.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier panel management and APQP development.
• Manage critical supplier issues and implement action plans.
• Deploy continuous improvement plans with key suppliers and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support purchasing processes and train teams in Group methodologies.
