Forvia is seeking a Supplier Quality and Development Engineer to ensure supplier quality and lead development efforts across the supplier base. The role supports SQA escalations and drives APQP for new parts while promoting robust quality plans and continuous improvement across global operations.

The candidate will have extensive automotive experience, strong English, and auditing certifications, with a track record in international environments and adherence to IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 standards.

Qualificações

• 7+ years in the automotive industry.
• 3+ years as Supplier Quality Engineer.
• Advanced English required.
• Experience in an international environment.
• Certifications in VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949 are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support supplier panel management; participate in supplier selection and evaluation.
• Manage critical supplier issues; implement action plans and escalation as needed.
• Deploy continuous improvement plans; support APQP for new/modified parts and tooling transfers.
• Mentor SQA Engineers and ensure compliance with IATF16949 and group methodologies.
