Job summary

Infleqtion is seeking a senior Supplier Quality professional to lead supplier quality assurance, audits, and CAPA programs. You will qualify suppliers against quality-system criteria, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with FAR Part 46 and DFARS where applicable.

The role requires 8+ years in supplier quality and related fields, strong documentation practices, and ability to collaborate across engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams. Up to 50% travel will be involved.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or a related technical field; equivalent relevant experience considered.
8+ years of supplier quality, quality engineering, manufacturing quality, or supplier-development experience.
Experience supporting Government or defense contracts and working with contract quality requirements under FAR Part 46; DFARS experience preferred where applicable.
Qualify, assess, and monitor suppliers based on quality-system capability, technical competence, capacity, delivery performance, and risk.
Conduct supplier audits covering quality-management-system, process, product, and special-process audits.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality standards.
Interpret drawings, specifications, BOMs, inspection plans, test requirements, and configuration-control requirements.
Experience with nonconformance management, CAPA, SCARs, and corrective actions.
Develop and review quality plans, first-article inspection packages, inspection/test records, certificates of conformance, and traceability.
Apply quality tools: 5 Why, fishbone, FMEA, control plans, SPC, risk-based thinking.

Responsibilities

Qualify, assess, and monitor supplier quality capability and performance.
Plan and conduct supplier audits (QMS, process, product, and special processes).
Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO9001/AS9100) and contract requirements.
Review and prepare inspection records, certificates of conformance, and traceability docs.
Lead CAPA and supplier corrective actions; monitor progress and effectiveness.
Collaborate with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and program management.
Support travel up to 50% as required.
