The Supplier Industrialization Engineer will own supplier development and quality management across our supplier network, collaborating with the Head of Supply Chain and senior leaders in design, NPI, reliability, and manufacturing to drive strategic partnerships. The role ensures the technical success of the supply chain, oversees supplier performance, and implements supplier quality systems.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent with 5–7 years experience in supplier development/quality.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP and PPAP quality systems.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop supplier capabilities through capability assessments and process improvements.
• Lead supplier qualification to ensure high quality, cost-effective delivery.
• Communicate technical requirements between suppliers and Heron's teams.
• Drive DFM reviews and tolerance analysis to meet design requirements.
• Evaluate new materials for improved design, manufacturability, or cost.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities via process and yield improvements.
