Job summary

Heron Power Inc. is seeking a Staff/Senior Staff Global Supply Manager to lead strategic sourcing for critical components powering Heron Link.

You will partner with the Head of Supply Chain and leaders across Finance, Design Engineering, NPI and Manufacturing to build a resilient supply base and ensure commercial success. You will define category strategies, drive cost targets with data-driven analyses, and lead RFx processes while mitigating risk across capacity, geopolitics, logistics, and

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement for high volume manufacturing.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Deep category knowledge across mechanical, electrical or electro-mechanical components.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional work-streams with engineering, operations, finance, legal and NPI teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Define and own category strategies for key components and assemblies.
• Achieve or exceed cost targets via should-cost modeling and market analysis.
• Lead RFx processes and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Manage risk through capacity, geopolitics, logistics, and roadmaps.
• Drive supplier readiness from prototype to mass production.
• Develop logistics and warehousing strategy with factory ops.
• Escalate supply, cost, or quality issues and implement corrective actions.
