Job summary

Heron Power Inc. is seeking a Supplier Industrialization Engineer for PCBA to own supplier development and manufacturing readiness across our PCB/PCBA supply base.

You will collaborate with engineering, NPI, reliability, and manufacturing leaders to ensure technical success of the electronics supply chain. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in PCBA manufacturing or related fields.
• BS degree in electrical, mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Deep knowledge of PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Strong SMT and through-hole assembly, soldering, inspection, electrical test.
• Skilled in DFM/DFA, SPС, DOE, sampling plans.
• ISO 9001 and PPAP understanding.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop PCBA and electronics supplier capabilities through capability assessments and process improvements.
• Lead supplier qualification to ensure high-quality, cost-effective PCB/PCBA deliveries.
• Facilitate clear communication of technical requirements between suppliers and Heron’s teams.
• Drive DFM/DFA reviews and manufacturing process qualification.
• Lead industrialization across PCB fabrication, SMT, through-hole assembly, soldering, power assembly, inspection, and testing.
• Drive process capability, yield improvements, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Evaluate new PCB/components materials and manufacturing technologies for reliability and cost.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities through process optimization and automation.
