Job summary

Sazerac Company is seeking a Supplier Engagement Specialist – Product Sourcing to strengthen supplier partnerships and optimize commodity sourcing. You will collaborate with Category Managers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive cost, quality, and supply performance.

You will analyze market trends, support new product development, and help ensure business continuity while delivering long-term value to our sourcing organization.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree.
• Required: Minimum of 1 year of procurement or related supply chain experience.
• Required: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Required: Self-motivated, innovative, and solution-oriented, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes and work effectively both independently and across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies across key commodities and procurement categories, with an emphasis on commodity management, supplier relationships, and total cost optimization.
• Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support new product development, supplier performance, business continuity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, pricing, and total cost of ownership to identify value creation opportunities and mitigate supply risks.
• Track procurement performance metrics, support supplier scorecards, and contribute to cost savings, productivity, and contract compliance objectives.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Logistics, Research and Development, Marketing, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure successful execution of sourcing and commercialization projects.
