Job summary

KBR is seeking a highly experienced Manager, Subcontracts & Procurement to oversee subcontract administration across multiple programs. The role focuses on supplier qualification, RFIs/RFPs, evaluating proposals, and maintaining compliant subcontract files.

You will drive cost, schedule, and quality integration with cross-functional teams and leadership. The position requires deep expertise in government contracting, complex master agreements, and experience managing a team of Subcontract

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree highly desired.
15+ years in procurement/subcontract management; 3–5 years in a leadership role.
Experience with various subcontract types (IDIQ, Cost Reimbursable, Fixed Price).
US Government Contract experience and familiarity with LOGCAP is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Drive major subcontract execution including cost, schedule, technical and quality performance.
Coordinate between Subcontracts, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Planning teams.
Serve as primary contact between subcontractor and project management; report to Supply Chain leadership.
Oversee procurement cycle across technical teams and suppliers.
Lead supplier negotiations and manage cost, terms and conditions.
Develop sourcing strategies and KPI scorecards for all commodities.
Mentor Purchasing/Subcontracts team and drive performance improvements.
Implement GR/IR strategies to promote timely payments.
