Job summary

KBR is seeking a seasoned Manager, Subcontracts & Procurement to oversee subcontract administration across complex programs, including cost, schedule, technical and quality integration. You will lead cross-functional teams and mentor staff while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and customer requirements.

The role emphasizes strategic supplier negotiations, developing sourcing strategies, and maintaining strong program-wide relationships with internal teams and vendors, in a on-site Chantilly,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree highly desired.
• 15+ years of procurement/subcontract management experience, with 3–5 years in a management role.
• Experience negotiating Master Service Agreements and complex Subcontracts.
• Experience with all subcontract types (IDIQ, Cost Reimbursable, Fixed Price).
• US Government Contract experience and LOGCAP experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive major subcontract execution including cost, schedule, technical and quality performance.
• Coordinate and integrate Subcontracts with Engineering, Quality, Finance and Planning teams.
• Serve as primary contact between subcontractor and project management, reporting to Supply Chain leadership.
• Oversee procurement cycle across technical teams and suppliers.
• Develop subcontract specs, statements of work, and terms & conditions for materials and services.
• Lead supplier negotiations on cost and terms, including long-term agreements.
• Manage costs, price analysis, and cost avoidance while driving KPIs.
• Develop supplier sourcing strategies and scorecards for commodities.
• Mentor and develop Purchasing/Subcontracts Team and conduct performance reviews.
• Implement GR/IR strategies to promote timely supplier payments.
