Job summary

KBR is seeking a highly motivated Manager, Subcontracts & Procurement to oversee and perform a full range of subcontract administration/management activities. This includes qualifying suppliers, issuing RFPs, evaluating proposals, and maintaining subcontract files according to procedures.

The role ensures seamless integration of subcontract work within the program across cost, schedule, technical, and quality management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree highly desired.
15+ years of procurement/subcontract experience; 3–5 years in management.
Experience with multiple subcontract types (IDIQ, Cost Reimbursable, Fixed Price).
US Government Contract experience desired; LOGCAP familiarity is a plus.
Strong English communication and leadership for a global team.

Responsibilities

Drive major subcontract execution and ensure full integration with the program.
Coordinate between Subcontracts, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Planning teams.
Serve as primary point of contact between subcontractor and project management.
Oversee the procurement cycle and align with technical teams and suppliers.
Lead supplier negotiations on cost, terms, and long-term agreements.
Develop supplier sourcing strategies and performance metrics.
Mentor and develop Purchasing/Subcontracts team and sustain KPIs.
