Job summary

Maximus is seeking a strategic Subcontracts leader in Hartford to manage a team of subcontract specialists across proposals and operations programs. You will drive lifecycle performance, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS policies while advising project teams on subcontract administration and risk mitigation.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in government contracting, strong leadership, and deep experience with NDA/TA, CPSR, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Extensive knowledge of FAR/DFARS compliance and NDA/TA best practices.
• Experience in Defense, National Security or Intelligence sectors preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and Contract Lifecycle Management tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle subcontractor performance from solicitation to closeout.
• Develop and drive subcontracting strategies across portfolios.
• Lead negotiations on terms, pricing, schedules and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and company policies.
• Maintain subcontract files and data in internal systems.
