Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Lead Subcontracts Specialist to drive procurement of materials and services in line with business goals. The role supports compliance with export/import regulations and reports to the Director of Strategic Sourcing on a hybrid schedule.

The position focuses on evaluating bids, meeting FAR/DFAR requirements, and resolving subcontract issues with mutually acceptable solutions across programs and regions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of procurement/subcontracts administration.
• DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR15).
• Detailed understanding of DoD Procurement Life Cycle.
• Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage USG end-use subcontracts with suppliers for lifecycle operations.
• Collaborate with program offices and lead Program Managers on subcontract cost, performance, and schedule.
• Administer existing subcontracts with Program, Project, and Cost/Estimating teams.
