You will estimate costs for structural and miscellaneous steel components, support budgeting, and prepare competitive bid proposals to win projects. The role requires sharp attention to detail, ability to read drawings, and collaboration with project teams to resolve scope questions before bids.

Qualifications

• Ability to read structural drawings and specifications (AISC standards strongly preferred).
• Experience in detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimation for structural steel projects.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software; ability to meet tight bid deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and bid docs to understand scope.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for structural steel, miscellaneous metals, bolts, welds, decking, coatings.
