Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive Stop Loss underwriting experience.
• Understanding of stop loss market dynamics and risk management.
• Strong math, communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Write and retain profitable stop loss cases adhering to guidelines.
• Establish basics of medical underwriting with clinical staff.
• Articulate risk pricing and thought process for reviews.
• Develop relationships with production sources, sales and account teams.
• Document underwriting processes and authority reviews clearly.
