Job summary

Bray International is seeking a U.S. State and Local Tax Manager to oversee state and local income/franchise tax, sales and use tax compliance, audits, and planning across multiple jurisdictions.

The role partners closely with accounting, finance, legal, procurement, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will monitor tax law changes, support tax provision, manage audits, and drive process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of multistate tax concepts including nexus and apportionment.
• Experience with state income/franchise tax and sales/use tax.

Responsibilities

• Manage state and local income/franchise tax compliance, including data collection and filing coordination.
• Oversee sales and use tax compliance, including taxability determinations and remittances.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and communicate implications to stakeholders.
• Support annual tax provision for state income taxes and related analyses.
• Lead tax audits and interact with taxing authorities.
