Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of lobbying or public policy experience.
• Experience in health care or highly regulated industries preferred.
• Strong policy analysis, strategic thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to lead GA strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead state lobbying and advocacy strategy across Illinois and the Midwest.
• Represent AbbVie to governors, regulators and coalitions.
• Collaborate with internal partners to align policy with business goals.
• Manage outside consultants and the state government affairs budget.
• Ensure compliance with lobbying laws and regulations.
• Engage in site selection initiatives and engage with economic development officials.
