Job summary

The Arizona Lottery is seeking a seasoned budget professional to oversee the agency's budget, forecasting, and reporting. You will coordinate with Governor's office, JLBC, GAO, and OSPB to ensure fiscal integrity and timely deliverables.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly reports, supporting contract planning, and guiding annual budget development while ensuring alignment with agency goals and compliant financial activity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong budgeting and financial analysis skills.
  • Ability to interpret statutes, policies, and regulations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience preparing monthly budget and revenue reports.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders including government offices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and administration of agency budget and expenditures.
  • Prepare, analyze, and deliver monthly budget and revenue reports to ensure fiscal accountability.
  • Support contract planning, administration, and processing with program staff.
  • Develop and manage annual budget requests and monitor fund transfers.
  • Coordinate with AG's Office, GAO, JLBC, and other agencies for reporting.
  • Assist in preparing MD&A and annual financial statements for audits.
  • Monitor budget process and legislative impacts on Lottery finances.
