Job summary

Georgia Lottery Corporation is seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and the administration of financial planning systems.

The role requires strong expertise in budgeting, modeling, and ERP implementations, with CPA preferred and several years of leadership in FP&A. Reporting to the Vice President of Financial Management, you will guide strategic financial decisions while ensuring compliance and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible accounting, budgeting, modeling and reporting.
• Minimum 3 years leading the financial planning and analysis function; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual budgeting process with business units and maintain budgeting systems.
• Design and maintain financial models and business cases for revenue, profit, and cost analysis.
• Coordinate monthly/quarterly/annual financial statement submittals with Accounting team; prepare board package.
• Prepare weekly cash forecasts and monitor cash flow for operations.
• Manage the accounting system modules and supervise new software implementations and data conversions.
• Administer games accounting and ensure GL balances are reconciled timely.
• Update internal control policies for FP&A functions; ensure alignment with Board policies.
• Prepare schedules/notes for audited financial statements and stay current with accounting pronouncements.
• Project sales and participate in multi-state jackpot-setting conference calls.
