Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) is seeking a Program Analyst to support the Department of Energy's Office of Electricity in advancing energy infrastructure, grid modernization, and related policy initiatives.

The role focuses on stakeholder engagement, programmatic communications, and event support, working with federal staff, program managers, and partners to ensure engagement activities are strategically planned, well-coordinated, and effectively executed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 4–9 years experience preferred, substitution allowed.
  • Experience supporting DOE or federal customers is a plus.
  • Ability to organize meetings and interact with external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and virtual meeting platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning, coordination, and execution of stakeholder outreach events.
  • Coordinate with federal staff, contractors, and stakeholders to support objectives.
  • Help develop outreach strategies, plans, agendas, and briefing materials.
  • Assist with time-sensitive requests from federal leadership related to stakeholder meetings and events.
  • Coordinate event requirements, track actions, and manage schedules and logistics.
  • Support communications and engagement activities to raise awareness of federal programs.
