Job summary

Metis is seeking a Stakeholder Engagement Lead to develop and deliver our stakeholder management capability across transport, water, environmental and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on strategy, leadership and mentoring consultants to provide effective engagement across complex environments.

You will advise project teams and clients, leading key meetings and workshops, while ensuring governance and QA are applied to engagement outputs.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in stakeholder engagement and public affairs.
• Ability to develop strategies and plans for complex projects.
• Degree qualification (2:1 or above).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong facilitation.
• Ability to mentor consultants and work across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of Metis's stakeholder engagement service offering.
• Support stakeholder management across projects and build strong client relationships.
• Prepare engagement strategies, communications plans, and stakeholder management plans.
• Advise project teams on risks and opportunities and manage these through delivery.
• Identify and assess key stakeholders and tailor engagement approaches by project stage.
• Lead planning and delivery of consultations, workshops and meetings.
• Provide QA of engagement outputs and client-facing briefing materials.
• Collaborate with project teams to embed stakeholder considerations into delivery.
