Leidos is seeking an energetic Staffing Manager to lead talent deployment for the Maru Program in Gaithersburg, MD. You will shape workforce strategy, build high-performing teams, and ensure mission-critical programs have the right people in the right roles at the right time.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required per contract.
• 5+ years of staffing management or talent acquisition experience, preferably in defense or geospatial intelligence.
• Experience staffing for complex, large-scale government programs and clear understanding of security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Staffing Strategy & Coordination: coordinate staffing strategies across the Maru Program to align with timelines.
• Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition: partner with TA to identify, screen, and present qualified candidates.
• Staffing Needs Analysis: assess current staffing, track resource utilization, and identify skill gaps.
• Onboarding & Integration Support: facilitate onboarding and ensure proper integration with customer security requirements.
• Collaboration & Communication: serve as primary staffing contact among engineering, program managers, TA, and other departments.
• Metrics & Reporting: track staffing progress and generate regular reports on hiring status and retention.
• Compliance & Documentation: maintain records of clearances and training in accordance with policies.
• Process Improvement: streamline workflows and reduce cycle times in hiring and onboarding.
