Leidos is seeking a Staffing Manager to lead talent deployment for a critical Intelligence Community program. You will shape workforce strategy, build high-performing teams, and ensure the right people are in the right roles at the right time.

Qualifications

  • US citizenship is required per contract.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Engineering Management or 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master's with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience, or 8-12+ years of prior relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in staffing management, talent acquisition, or resource management, preferably in the defense or geospatial intelligence sectors.
  • Experience in managing staffing for complex, large-scale projects or government programs.
  • Knowledge of the types of engineering roles and skills needed with geospatial intelligence industry.
  • Proficiency with staffing software, and project management tools.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in tracking staffing activities and processing sensitive data.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality in accordance with customer security requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, program managers, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement end-to-end staffing strategy and execution across programs.
  • Coordinate with program leadership, recruiting, contracts, HR, security, and delivery teams to forecast workforce needs.
  • Create staffing plans, forecasts, hiring priorities, and pipelines.
  • Screen and present qualified candidates for mission-critical roles considering clearance requirements.
  • Monitor staffing metrics and provide actionable leadership recommendations.
  • Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and transitions to minimize mission disruption.
  • Build relationships with cleared professionals to maintain a strong talent pipeline.
  • Ensure staffing activities meet contractual, policy, and security requirements.
  • Communicate staffing status and challenges to senior leadership.
  • Continuously improve staffing processes and workforce planning practices.
