Pinkston is seeking a Staff Writer in Falls Church, VA to craft persuasive content across corporate and nonprofit clients. The role requires collaboration with account managers and executives, sharp proofreading, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have 1–2 years of professional writing experience, strong research skills, and familiarity with AP style. Hybrid work supports collaboration with a small, dedicated team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years professional writing experience.
• Ability to synthesize and translate information into persuasive arguments.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and balance multiple projects across several diverse clients.
• Ability to provide and receive editorial feedback on writing from Editors, Staff Writers, PR Staff and clients.
• Undergraduate degree in Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Produce a range of written materials including op-eds, press releases, white papers, talking points and other writing as necessary on tight deadlines.
• Engage in client-facing meetings and discovery processes to gain insight into client messaging goals.
• Provide timely edits and review written content from other staff writers across teams while maintaining deadlines.
• Support PR Team with additional editing and written communication as needed.
