Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Occupancy Planner to own end-to-end space allocation and occupancy planning for their assigned area. You will drive data-driven recommendations, manage multi-workstream programs, and partner with GREF stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align real estate strategy with business goals.

The role requires strong program management discipline, rigorous milestones, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• 5+ years developing program strategies, plans, execution and senior stakeholder influence.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups).
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience in commercial real estate or lease administration in industrial/commercial/data center environments.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with financial modeling and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Own space allocation and occupancy planning end-to-end for assigned areas.
• Drive collection, verification, and analysis of headcount and space data, resolving discrepancies.
• Manage occupancy planning programs as structured initiatives with milestones and dependencies.
• Act as liaison between occupancy planning teams, GREF partners, and business units.
• Develop scenarios and migration plans with data-driven recommendations.
• Address defects in space allocation, implement fixes, and prevent recurrence.
• Deliver occupancy metrics and portfolio-level reporting for leadership.
