Job summary

KBR Careers in Colorado Springs, CO seeks an Offensive/Defensive Space Control Analyst (ODSC) to deliver tactical assessments, algorithm validation, and software solutions to close critical space kill chains, ensuring the warfighter maintains the tactical edge in space.

An active TS/SCI clearance is required. You will work at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs with responsibilities spanning analysis, tool development, and leadership briefings supporting space defense operations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• M.S. in Operations Research, Astrodynamics, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in space systems analysis, astrodynamics, or space control operations.
• Strong Python experience for data parsing, simulations, and modeling.
• Hands-on experience with standard astrodynamics software and modeling suites.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical analysis, tools, and models to close space kill chains.
• Analyze algorithm deficiencies and mitigation options for space C2.
• Develop and maintain astrodynamics tools and software.
• Research algorithms to improve SDA and OW operations.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership.
• Assist units with quick software solutions for real-world issues.
• Serve as subject matter expert on astrodynamics and space control.
• Validate SSN, non-traditional, and commercial space surveillance data.
