Job summary

KBR is hiring an Operations Research Analyst/Data Scientist to join the National Security Solutions team at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO. You will develop and implement mathematical and statistical models to solve problems across domains, with a focus on defense and space applications.

The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance (TS/SCI desirable) and strong Python/data science skills. On-site, full-time, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• MS in operations research, data science, or related field; 7+ years of experience.
• Proficiency with Python.
• Experience developing and implementing mathematical and statistical models.
• Strong quantitative and analytic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and align analytical efforts to meet them.
• Develop and implement mathematical/statistical models across domains.
• Coordinate with senior managers to identify and solve problems and clarify objectives.
• Apply modern Data Science techniques (supervised/unsupervised ML) to datasets.
• Understand how to optimize tasks using computer automation.
