Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Space-Based Training and Operations Support Team Member at Colorado Springs (onsite) to represent and support the On‑Orbit SDA and Characterization tool for USSPACECOM.

You will train space activity officers, analyze orbital data, and collaborate with government and industry partners to ensure mission readiness. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, a STEM degree or equivalent experience, and 10+ years in related fields.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in orbital analysis, SDA, space operations, or related field.
• Knowledge of Orbital Warfare, RPO, OA, SDA and space systems capabilities.
• Experience teaching or training adults using diverse methods.
• Ability to brief senior military and government leaders.
• Proficiency with MS Office and IT support basics.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Introduce, educate, grow, integrate, and promote the On-Orbit SDA/Characterization tool to USSPACECOM personnel.
• Train Space Activity Synchronization officers in orbital warfare analysis and SDA concepts.
• Assist in spacecraft anomaly resolution and configuration baseline management.
• Present tool capabilities to space crews, partners, and senior leaders.
• Create tailored training curricula to meet operational objectives.
• Attend coordination meetings to understand and define USSPACECOM requirements.
• Plan and execute training for USSPACECOM and other operators; manage TADSS usage.
• Collaborate with analysts, operators, and stakeholders to address analytical needs.
