Job summary

SAIC in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Contracts Support Specialist to provide acquisition, contract administration, and compliance support for the Inner Harbor contract. This on-site, full-time role partners with Government program leadership to manage contract actions from planning through closeout.

You will prepare pre-award documents, support awards and modifications, conduct cost/price analysis, and ensure FAR/DFARS compliance. TS/SCI clearance and DoD/IC contracting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of experience, or Master's plus 8+ years.
• Experience with Intelligence Community or DoD contracting.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and EPX Studio.
• Experience with source selections and contract negotiations.
• Experience in Space Launch contracting and related procurement.
• Ability to interact with senior decision makers and diverse audiences.
• TS/SCI clearance required; SAP experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete contract packages with validation, funding, and acquisition strategy alignment.
• Develop and maintain pre-award documents such as Acquisition Plans and RFPs.
• Support contract awards/modifications, ensuring pricing, timelines, and clauses are correct.
• Perform cost/price analysis, evaluate proposals, and participate in negotiations.
• Manage post-award administration including invoices, discrepancies, and schedules.
• Maintain contract documentation and track actions to ensure deliverables.
• Coordinate with program management, budget, technical teams and legal.
• Monitor acquisition policy changes to stay compliant with FAR/DFARS.
• Prepare reports and briefings for senior leadership.
