Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Space Force Basing & Beddown Specialist to support Washington, DC-based basing initiatives in a hybrid work arrangement. The role focuses on translating mission needs into facility documentation, cost estimates, and MILCON/FSRM programs to implement approved basing decisions.

The ideal candidate has a decade of relevant experience, a technical degree, and a strong understanding of DoD processes, with TS clearance and U.S. work authorization required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or planning discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience with broad knowledge of DAF and DoD processes (USSF/S4).
• Facilities project execution and oversight experience in DoW.
• Experience developing Class 4 and Class 5 estimates.
• Headquarters experience with staffing approval packages for facility requirements.
• Civil Engineer experience in USAF or US Space Force is highly desired.
• Position requires Top Secret Clearance and ability to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Translate mission requirements to facility and infrastructure documents with cost estimates and draft MILCON/FSRM documents.
• Support USSF basing initiatives through cost estimates and expanded planning, engineering, and architectural analysis.
• Prepare staff packages and briefings for senior leadership, integrating engineer/architect inputs for transparent stakeholder communication.
