Job summary

STRIX Drones USA, Inc. in the Denver, Colorado area is seeking a Supply Chain / Procurement Manager to own day-to-day sourcing, ordering, and delivery of parts for DFNDR systems.

You will build and manage the vendor base, negotiate purchase orders, and ensure timely arrivals to meet production schedules. The role focuses on procurement reliability as STRIX scales production, with responsibilities spanning supplier performance, inventory management, and compliance with ITAR/DFARS and government

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in hardware manufacturing (aerospace, defense, electronics, or robotics/UAS preferred).
• Experience procuring to MIL-SPEC/ITAR/DFARS supplier requirements and ISO 9001/AS9100.
• Experience managing multiple POs and vendors against delivery schedules.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems for purchasing and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day procurement of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components for production builds.
• Maintain a master parts/BOM procurement schedule aligned with milestones.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery commitments.
• Track supplier performance and drive corrective actions for underperforming vendors.
• Maintain safety stock and buffer strategies for long-lead items.
