Job summary

Skydio, a leading US drone company, seeks a senior Buyer to drive end-to-end procurement and MRP for drones, docks, and future products in a regulated environment. You will manage POs, optimize supplier performance, and partner with engineering and manufacturing to ensure timely builds and cost efficiency.

The role requires 8+ years in procurement or supply chain, ERP/MRP proficiency, and experience in aerospace or high-tech hardware.

Qualifications

8+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in aerospace, robotics, or electronics manufacturing.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business).
APICS certification or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end Purchase Orders to support customer orders and revenue targets.
Maintain vendor and component data in ERP/MRP systems (costs, lead times, MOQs, logistics).
Improve ERP accuracy and build a robust MRP for in-house manufacturing.
Collaborate with internal teams on supply chain strategies and provide delivery data for build clear-to-build reports.
Analyze procurement data and report on on-time delivery and supplier performance.
Support planning metrics such as safety stock, inventory health, order policies, and cash flow.
Participate in cross-functional teams to drive cost, quality, delivery, and inventory improvements.
