Job summary

LeoLabs, based in Menlo Park, CA, is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to lead complex sourcing and subcontracting for U.S. Government-funded and contract-driven programs. You will translate program requirements into supplier actions from intake to award and closeout, coordinating with Legal, Engineering, and Finance.

The ideal candidate has aerospace/defense experience, FAR/DFARS knowledge, supplier management, and strong Excel skills, with eligibility for a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; cross-functional collaboration skills.
• 7+ years of strategic sourcing, subcontracts, procurement, or supplier negotiations with complex programs.
• Experience with RFQ/RFP processes, price analysis, and supplier documentation.
• Experience maintaining procurement files; ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Personnel Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic sourcing and subcontract actions from intake to closeout with cross-functional partners.
• Lead RFQ/RFPs, supplier evaluations, price analysis, negotiations on terms and schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders, subcontracts, SOWs, and related supplier agreements.
• Coordinate FAR/DFARS flow-downs, ITAR/export controls, and DPAS considerations.
• Maintain audit-ready procurement files with documentation of competition and price reasonableness.
• Manage supplier performance, change management, and contractual risk mitigation.
• Support proposals with quotations, lead-time checks, and risk input.
• Improve sourcing processes, templates, and documentation standards as programs grow.
