Medical Mutual in Brooklyn, OH is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate supplier agreements, and collaborate with internal teams. The role demands strong market analysis, cross-functional leadership, and a drive to optimize spend management.

You will manage RFQ/RFP processes, build partnerships with Business Units, and contribute to savings through structured sourcing methods. On-site presence is required three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Supply Chain focus or equivalent
• 2–5+ years of sourcing experience
• Proven ability to achieve quantifiable savings through strategic sourcing
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through sourcing and negotiations

Responsibilities

• Manages sourcing events (RFQ, RFI, RFP, or direct negotiation) and supplier selection
• Negotiates price and contract terms with suppliers and manages relationships with Business Units
• Conducts market analyses to identify opportunities and benchmarks regional supply markets
• Develops sourcing strategies and service levels; communicates supplier plans and resolves issues
• Performs other duties as assigned
