Job summary

HP Hood, a leading US food and beverage manufacturer, seeks a Strategic Sourcing professional to manage spend categories and negotiate supplier contracts. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive cost improvement and risk mitigation across multiple brands.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in dairy/food manufacturing procurement, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and a PMP or related certifications. Hybrid work and travel up to 10% are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or Food Science preferred.
• Five plus years’ experience preferably in a dairy, food and beverage (F&B) or manufacturing environment.
• Professional Certification in a related field is a plus.
• Project management experience or PMP certification is desirable.
• Experience in category and supplier management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Category management of assigned spend categories and developing category plans.
• Manage performance of suppliers for assigned categories.
• Develop and implement supply risk management strategies.
• Negotiate price and supply agreements; ensure contract compliance.
• Track spend and value creation; maintain item standard costs and budgets.
