Job description

A Day in the Life

This position provides contract management support to assigned categories within Supply Management. Responsibilities include drafting contracts on standard templates, reviewing supplier red lines with the legal team to ensure compliance, routing final contracts for signatures, and ensuring contracts are correctly archived in the Ariba Contract Management System.

This role is part of the Contract Center of Excellence within the Supply Management Solutions team of Medtronic’s Global Supply Management Group. It reports to the Contract COE Director, Supply Management Solutions, and involves exposure to various contracting activities across multiple commodities and services supporting Medtronic’s strategic purchasing.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide contract management support, including drafting, review, routing, and archiving.
  2. Communicate contract request status with internal stakeholders, aiming to meet business objectives and timelines with a service-oriented approach.
  3. Mitigate risks, leverage technology and purchasing power, improve processes and systems, and reduce overall costs.

A Baccalaureate degree is required, or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Experience with Ariba Contracts or similar ERP platforms, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management is preferred.
