Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a procurement professional to drive sourcing strategies, manage the bid process, and negotiate purchases for medium dollar/complexity requirements, representing the group and ensuring policy compliance.

Responsibilities include conducting RFPs, leading sourcing and contracting, analyzing market data, and developing supplier relationships. Travel up to 25% and hybrid work arrangement are supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum of three years related experience in strategic sourcing.
• Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), Six Sigma, Lean, Process or Project Management certifications desirable

Responsibilities

• Conduct RFPs, negotiate, and execute contracts independently.
• Lead sourcing, negotiation, and contracting process for medium value contracts.
• Gathers and interprets market data to understand spend and support analytics.
• Develops procurement schedules and supplier pre-qualification activities.
• Produces SRM scorecards and monitors supplier performance (KPIs).
• Communicates with end users and suppliers to provide updates and guidance.
