Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Senior Sourcing Agent to drive procurement sourcing strategies for medium dollar/complex purchases, supporting natural gas and facilities services. You will manage the bid process, negotiate contracts, and optimize supplier base while collaborating across functions.

The role requires advanced sourcing knowledge, excellent negotiation and leadership skills, and a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional sourcing processes from supplier evaluation to contract implementation.
• Prepare RFPs, review bids, and negotiate with suppliers for indirect spend.
• Improve supplier capabilities and implement best procurement practices.
• Define requirements with stakeholders aligned to long-term strategy.
• Monitor supply market trends and supplier economics.
• Plan sourcing events and manage contract end dates.
• Coordinate contract administration with end users and suppliers.
• Provide guidance to resolve contract disputes and manage lifecycle.
• Negotiate and execute medium-dollar/complex contracts.
• Collaborate with Legal to review terms and define SOWs.
• Identify supply and quality problems and drive corrective actions.
