Job summary

BodyBio in Millville, NJ is seeking a Sourcing/Purchasing Manager to own all sourcing activities, focusing on co-manufacturers, ingredients, packaging, and production materials. You will conduct RFPs, onboard vendors, and manage purchase orders to ensure quality and timely delivery.

This role requires five years of sourcing/purchasing experience in nutraceuticals or related industries, a four-year degree, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college required.
• Minimum five (5) years of sourcing/purchasing experience in nutraceutical/pharma/food industry.
• Strong leadership, relationship building and communication skills.
• Must be able to facilitate meetings with senior functional leads.
• High level of proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and detail oriented.
• Ability to travel at least 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Source the best quality co-manufacturers, ingredients, packaging, and production materials.
• Lead vendor sourcing and conduct RFPs to assess capabilities and pricing.
• Onboard co-manufacturers and vendors by developing procedures and training.
• Place POs for materials with clear instructions; ensure on-time delivery and quality.
