Job summary

Made Scientific is seeking a Procurement Manager to own day‑to‑day procurement execution across its Newark and Princeton sites. This role leads procurement activities, inventory support, supplier performance, and purchasing process discipline to support manufacturing, R&D, and customer commitments.

The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on procurement experience, strong analytical skills, and ownership of purchasing processes, resolving issues, and driving improvements with internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required inOperations, Engineering, Business, Procurement or related field.
• 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supplier management experience including owning purchasing processes.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing, life sciences, biotech, pharma, or related regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, inventory management, purchasing controls, and supplier negotiations.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, and lead process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own procurement execution for raw materials, consumables, services, and capital equipment.
• Lead supplier selection support, pricing reviews, purchasing coordination, and supplier performance tracking.
• Manage supplier KPIs, identify performance gaps, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams to ensure suppliers meet GMP, ISO, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide purchasing visibility and input to inventory planning and stock-level decisions.
