Job summary

TRIGO ADR Americas in Wichita, KS is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage high-volume material purchases and ensure timely placement of purchase orders. The role covers from intent to purchase to delivery, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.

Requirements include SAP/ERP proficiency, DoD procurement knowledge, MS Office, and fluent English. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of related experience are preferred, with competitive benefits and travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 2-4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to build relations with a supplier network and understand supplier processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all activities related to procurement from intent to purchase through delivery.
• Issues RFQs and POs and/or IDWAs in accordance with company and government regulations.
• Solicits and evaluates proposals for the requested commodity.
• Negotiates the lowest possible cost balancing quality and schedule.
• Implements purchase contracts complying with regulations.
• Ensures timely delivery at negotiated price and quality standards.
• Maintains timely control of orders and documentation.
• Travel and cross-functional coordination as needed.
