Accenture Sourcing & Procurement is expanding its Consulting team in the United States, seeking a Procurement Manager to lead cost optimization and procurement process improvement projects for clients. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of management consulting experience supporting procurement and/or strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience; if associate degree, minimum 6 years experience.
• Minimum 3 years focusing on Spend Optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall project plans and lead all parts of the client engagement.
• Manage project support resources and coordinate with SMEs.
• Develop creative cost reduction strategies and recommendations.
• Present to client executives.
• Build consensus among client stakeholders.
• Develop and nurture client relationships.
• Support internal strategies, intellectual capital, and deliverables.
• Support client sales origination.
• Assess client expenditures and identify targets to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Strategic sourcing within and across portfolios.
